Mumbai: A tense confrontation between Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami and BJP spokesperson Sanju Verma during a live prime-time debate has gone viral on social media, as viewers widely circulate a dramatic moment when Goswami told Verma, “Stop sending me WhatsApp messages in the middle of the show.”

The clash is said to have occurred during a heated political debate on Republic TV, where panelists were examining Prime Minister Modi’s recent appeal to Indians about buying gold, using oil, and other related issues. As the conversation grew more combative, constant interruptions and overlapping remarks plunged the discussion into disorder.

Goswami Slams Verma Over Her Behaviour On Live TV

As tensions rose and several guests, including Verma, started talking over each other, Goswami seemed increasingly exasperated as he tried to manage the debate. He reprimanded her for her conduct on live television. "You are being frivolous about a serious matter.
