Pune: A case has been registered against three real estate developers for allegedly using a forged regularization certificate to facilitate property sales and transfers in a residential building in Ambegaon, Pune. The fraudulent act resulted in financial loss to the government.

According to the police, Harsh Anand Developers constructed a building named Jyotiba Angan in Ambegaon Budruk. While executing sale deeds of the flats, the accused allegedly created a fake regularization certificate and used it as part of the official property documents.

This forged document was then used to transfer ownership of flats in the building, allowing the developers to gain financial benefits while defrauding the government.

The fraud came to light when Deputy Sub-Registrar Sanjay Chavan lodged a complaint at Alankar Police Station. Following the complaint, a case was registered against: Kishor Vinayak Kondhare (46), Srikanth Dattatraya Ambavale (41), and Suryakant Madhukar Waghmare (35). All three are partners in Harsh Anand Developers.

The alleged fraud took place between December 26, 2020, and December 31, 2020, at the Sub-Registrar Office, Haveli No. 22, Erandwane. The case is currently under investigation by Police Sub-Inspector Gorakh Ghodge, and further legal action is expected.
