Pimpri: A Tata Motors employee expressed his gratitude towards industrialist Ratan Tata in a unique way—by making his portrait a witness to his son's wedding ceremony. The event, which also honored historical figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Jotiba Phule, and Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, has gained widespread attention across the city.
Gokul Chavan, an employee of Tata Motors, hosted the wedding of his son, Mayur, with Shruti, daughter of Sudhakar Tungenwar from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, on March 9. At the beginning of the wedding rituals, the family paid tribute to the portraits of prominent leaders, including Ratan Tata, as a mark of respect.
The gesture of acknowledging Ratan Tata’s contribution towards employee welfare, alongside great historical figures, deeply moved the guests.
