Pune: Although the natural beauty of the universe cannot be seen with the eyes, he experienced first-hand the wonder of natural beauty by listening to flowers, leaves, water falling on his body and the chirping of birds.
The students also feasted on the local menu of onion bhaji, pithla-bhakri and sajuk ghee shira. The girls also performed aarti at the temple at Baneshwar.
The occasion was a trip organised by Seva Mitra Mandal in Shukrawar Peth for visually impaired students in Velhe taluka. Around 150 girls from Pune Blind Girls' School in Kothrud, Louis Braille Blind Disabled Welfare Society in Wagholi and Sai Guru Seva Sansthan in Narhe participated in the tour.
The event was organised by The Chairman of the Board Parag Shinde, Amar Lande, Sachin Sasane, Vikram Mohite, Suresh Tarlagatti, Anup Thopte, Kunal Jadhav, Pradyuman Pandit.
Shirish Mohite said, "Students enjoy the trip, so they are eager to come on the trip every year. It is in giving joy to these visually impaired girls that the workers find joy and energy."
