Water Supply Disruption in Parts of Pune on December 26-27

The work involves the installation of a 450 mm butterfly valve on a pipeline at Harakanagar and Bhavani Peth, connected to the Parvati MLR tank.

Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) water supply department has announced that water supply in several parts of Pune will remain suspended on Thursday, December 26, due to maintenance work.

The work involves the installation of a 450 mm butterfly valve on a pipeline at Harakanagar and Bhavani Peth, connected to the Parvati MLR tank. Additionally, a 300 mm diameter pipeline will be connected to a 500 mm diameter pipeline under the Uniform Water Supply Scheme.

As a result of this maintenance activity, water supply will be disrupted on Thursday, and areas are expected to experience late morning water supply with low pressure on Friday, October 27.

  • Arun Vaidya Stadium Area

  • Ghorpade Peth

  • Laxminarayan Talkies Rear Area

  • Parvati Darshan - Parts of Mitramandal Colony

Other Areas:

  • Saras Baug Area

  • Khadakmal Ali

  • Shivaji Road Area

  • Mukundnagar

  • Parts of Maharshinagar

  • TMV Colony

  • Meenatai Thackeray Industrial Estate

  • Apsara Talkies Area

  • Meera Anand Area

  • Shreyas Society

The PMC has requested residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance to avoid inconvenience.
