Putting rest to intense speculation about his whereabouts for months, Alibaba group founder Jack Ma has finally re-emerged, addressing 100 rural teachers in China over video conference on Wednesday, Reuters reported.

This is Jack Ma’s first appearance in public since October 2020 since the Chinese government's aggressive crackdown on his business empire. Chinese authorities also launched an antitrust investigation against Alibaba last year
