29 passengers rescued from burning luxury bus

Pune:  A luxury bus from Pune to Nagpur caught fire near Nagar Road-Vadgaonsheri ward office in Viman Nagar on Pune-Ahmednagar highway on Thursday night. 

The 29 passengers were brought out safely, while their luggage was gutted in fire. The officials from Pune fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire. The incident took place around 8.15 pm. 

The incident had brought to traffic to a halt on the busy road during peak traffic hour.
