Pune: As a part of the ongoing 'Silhouettes 2018', the annual cultural, sports and literary fest organised by Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), the prestigious Shyam Bhatt Memorial Quiz was organised. 

This flagship event of the Debating & Quizzing Club has been setting the bar higher with every passing year. Hosted by Major Chandrakant Nair (retd), one of the most popular faces in quizzing circuits in India, this event witnessed some intense and good quality quizzing.

Silhouettes is a multi-discipline event where medical colleges from all over the country participate in various sports and cultural activities. This year, the event began on February 21 and will conclude on February 24.

Yenepoya Medical College won the Battle Of Bands. In the solo category event Dhwani, Kaushik Prabhav (JIPMER) bagged the top spot while Aishwarya Nair from Yenepoya Medical College finished runner-up in the western category. 

In the Eastern Solo category, Pawan Hari Higar Duddu from AFMC bagged the first prize while Anirudh Madhav from Yenepoya finished second. Highlight of the fest was stand-up comedian Sorabh Pant's show.
