Pune, 20 June 2025: A major fraud case has come to light in Pune where AtmaNirbhar Concepts India Pvt. Ltd. has allegedly cheated investors to the tune of 3.5 crore. The company is accused of luring people with promises of attractive returns and later defaulting on payments.

According to police information, the company convinced people to invest money between 2022 and 2024 by offering assured returns of 8 to 9 percent over a specified period. Initially, it paid small returns to gain the trust of investors. However, after some time, the company stopped the payments and refused to return the invested amounts.

As a result, many investors have suffered significant financial losses. In this matter, Bund Garden Police have registered a case against AtmaNirbhar Concepts India Pvt. Ltd. under charges of breach of trust, embezzlement, fraud, and under the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (MPID) Act. The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) is currently investigating the company’s financial dealings.

So far, 43 investors have officially reported being victims of this fraud. However, police believe that there may be more people who have fallen prey to the company’s false promises but have not yet come forward.

The EOW has appealed to such investors to approach them without delay and share information related to their investments. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible for this financial scam.
