District officials said only 1,000 devotees will be permitted to visit the temple each day between 7 am and 11 am. Entry will be allowed only through mandatory online registration to ensure proper crowd management and safety arrangements.

The temple had been shut for darshan since January 9 as major construction and infrastructure development work began ahead of the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik.

Several projects, including the construction of a new sabhamandap and improved facilities for pilgrims, are being carried out inside the temple complex.

Officials said the redevelopment work has now reached its final stage. Cleaning of the premises, removal of construction materials and arrangements for smooth darshan and crowd control are currently underway and are expected to be completed before the reopening date.

Online registration for darshan will begin from June 5 on the official website shreebhimashankar.com. Devotees who complete the registration process will have to carry a valid identity card while visiting the temple.

“In the first phase, the temple will remain open from 7 am to 11 am from June 15. The darshan timings will be increased gradually in the coming days. We request devotees and local residents to cooperate with the temple trust, district administration and police authorities,” said In-charge District Collector Gajanan Patil.
