Bomb Threat at Mahindra International School Triggers Major Police Response in Pune

Students Evacuated as Police Teams Search Campus after anonymous threat through the Email

Pune, 3rd December 2025: On Wednesday morning, tension gripped Pune’s Hinjawadi IT Park when Mahindra International School received an email claiming a bomb was on the premises. The alert prompted concern among parents and staff.

The school administration immediately informed the police after spotting the suspicious email. Teams from the Hinjawadi Police Station, the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS), and the Dog Squad rushed to the campus. A detailed search operation began soon after.

All students and staff were safely evacuated as a precaution. The school, located in Hinjawadi and known for offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, remained under tight security as police combed the premises.

Police officials have requested parents and residents to stay calm and avoid sharing unverified messages while the search continues. Authorities said they are treating the threat seriously and are working to trace the sender of the email.
