A confrontation took place at Wadia College involving the student wing of MNS, Maharashtra Navnirman Vidyarthi Sena (MNVS), and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). Posters with the message 'Boycott MNVS' were seen around the college, allegedly posted by ABVP members. In retaliation, MNVS activists reportedly broke into the ABVP office and locked it, heightening the conflict.

Subsequently, ABVP members forced open the lock and made loud protest declarations outside their office. The event swiftly became a subject of conversation throughout Pune and has been reported to the local police station.

Aditya Dumbre Patil, Media Coordinator of ABVP Pune, stated, “It is unacceptable for one student group to enter another’s office and behave in this way. This seems like a political stunt to gain attention ahead of upcoming local elections. ABVP has a strong presence in Pune, with over 50,000 registered members and part time student organisations doesn't need to interfere with our work.”

Meanwhile, Dhanajay Dalavi, City President of MNVS, said, “We approached Koregaon Park police station to report the situation, but no action was taken. Instead, cases are now being filed against us, rather than receiving justice.”

The incident highlights the growing tensions in Pune’s student politics, where rivalry between student organizations sometimes spills beyond campus grounds, drawing attention from authorities and the public alike.
