ST CORRESPONDENT

PUNE: A day after his anticipatory bail application was rejected, Congress corporator Ravindra Dhangekar was arrested on Friday in connection with attack on Pune Municipal Corporation’s additional commissioner Rajendra Nimbalkar. Dhangekar was remanded to one day police custody by a judicial magistrate court.

Few days back, court had granted anticipatory bail to another Congress corporator Arvind Shinde.

Rajendra Nimbalkar was attacked by the leaders of Opposition parties after an argument broke out among them in the chamber of Mayor Mukta Tilak on February 11.
