Covid-19: Now a mobile app to track hospital beds in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri: In an endeavour to make people available easy information about number of bed lying vacant in Pimpri Chinchwad hospitals, the PCMC (Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation) on Saturday launched a mobile application.

The mobile app ‘Me Jababdar-PCMC’ will help user to provide all the information related to COVID-19, bed tracking at hospitals on one click. The app will give you the accurate information about vacancy of ventilators, ICU and oxygenated beds.

The app also provide help about the COVID Care Centres present in the city along with info about other hospitals and their contact details. The app available in English and Marathi can be installed from Android’s Google Play Store. Click the below link to download.

The app also will give user a list of COVID Testing Centres with their contact details. Also, notices and guidelines issued by Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, State Government, and Central Government will be notified by the app to the user. The app provides PCMC helpline numbers such as Telemedicine helpline, bed management helpline, Swasthya Helpline and more. People from PCMC area can also find vaccination centres in the region along with their location and contact details. The app lately also gives actions for COVID-19 prevention.

Pimpri Chinchwad Mayor Usha Dhore, party leader Namdev Dhake, Additional Commissioner Development Dhakne, Chief Information and Technology Officer Nilkanth Poman were present during the launch.

Meanwhile, Pimpri Chinchwad on Saturday reported 2,473 new cases taking the active caseload to 1,98,402. The region also witnessed 81 deaths taking the death tally to 2,610 till date.

Recently, the PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation) also launched, PMC Home Isolation, a mobile app for monitoring of the health status of COVID patients.
