Cyber Champ competition conducted by City Pride School

PUNE: The Ninth Cyber Champ Competition conducted by City Pride School and sponsored by Persistent Foundation concluded recently. 

The theme of this year’s competition was ‘Use of technology to help mother Earth and eventually us’ and aimed at testing technological skills as well as generating awareness. A total number of 600 students from 25 schools participated in this competition.  Persistent Systems framed the challenges for all events like MS Paint, Scratch, Webpage Designing, MSW Logo etc. as well as judged the entire event. Chief Guest for this competition was Mayur Jain, Senior Program Manager, Persistent Systems.

Dr Ashwini Kulkarni and Dr Deepali Sawai, Directors of City Pride School and Maya Sawant, Principal of City Pride School gave away the prizes along with the judges and the Chief Guest. City Pride School won Cyber Champ Competition by winning in most of the events and they received the Winner School Trophy. The most promising participating school trophy was awarded to Army Public School, Dighi. A special prize printer was awarded to Vidya Niketan School for their excellent performance.
