Four upsets on Day 1 of Little Jr bronze tennis

Pune: Vedant Khanvalkar, Sanat Kadle, Shaunak Ranpise and Vihaan Tiwari scored upset wins at the PMDTA-Icon Little Junior Champions Bronze series tennis tournament at Akshay Shahane’s Tennis Academy, in Bhugaon.

In the boys Under-10 event, Vedant Khanvalkar upset top seeded Ram Magdum 5-2, while  Sanat Kadle beat No 3 seed Samihan Deshmukh 5-1. In other matches, Shaunak Ranpise defeated seventh seeded Vaishnav Ranawade 5-2, while Vihaan Tiwari defeated No 8 seed Veeren Choudhari 5-0.
