According to the Pune Forest Department, no further movement of the leopard has been recorded so far. Officials believe the animal may have been moving along the Ramnadi nala, a natural corridor that links several green patches in the region.

The hills around the National Defence Academy (NDA), which connect to the forests in Mulshi, are known leopard habitats, making such occasional appearances in nearby urban pockets possible.

Neha Panchamiya, founder of RESQ, which is supporting the forest department, urged people not to panic but remain alert, especially at night. She requested residents to immediately share any direct and credible visuals with authorities through the Forest Department helpline 1926 or the RESQ helpline 9172511100.

Forest teams continue to monitor the area to track the animal’s movement and ensure the safety of people living nearby.
