MSCE changes timings of scholarship exams

ST CORRESPONDENT

PUNE: The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has altered the timings of the Std V and Std VIII scholarship examinations that are scheduled to be held on February 24.

The decision has been made considering that the re-entrance examination for the All India Sainik Schools will also be held on the same day.

A circular, signed by Tukaram Supe, Commissioner, Maharashtra State Council of Examination stated that to prevent causing any kind of inconvenience to the students who might be answering both the examinations, both the papers of the scholarship examination will be held in the second half of the day itself.

The circular states that while Paper 1 will take place from 1 pm to 2.30 pm, Paper 2 is scheduled from 3.30 pm to 5 pm.

Similarly, the students who are answering both the examinations will also be allowed to answer them at one centre itself.

It will be up to the students to decide which centre to choose, and as long as they have separate admit cards for the same, the students can answer them at any one of the two centres assigned to them.
