MSEDCL provides 55,000 electricity meters for city

PUNE: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has provided new 55,000 electricity meters of single phase for rural areas including Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad in Pune region.

“On the new year, a total of 55,000 single phase new meters are available for Pune region. Of these, 15,000 will be provided for Pune rural division and 20,000 each to Rasta Peth division and Ganeshkhind division. These new meters will be distributed to branch offices in the next three to four days as per the requirement,” said a senior officer of MSEDCL.

All these new electricity meters will be used to replace old faulty electricity meters.
