Pune: The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) will start extra buses to cater to the summer vacation rush. The Pune division will run 150 buses this year. Most of the buses will be available for the areas of Western Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Every year, the Pune division runs extra buses. Most of the schools and colleges have already closed after end of the 10th and 12th examinations. Thousands of people come to Pune for education and for jobs. The number of people, who come from Marathwada, is high and they travel by ST buses.
The buses will depart from 13 depots including Swargate, Shivajingar, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Saswad, Baramati, Indapur, Daund, Shirur and Bhor.
