The father of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl, who was sexually assaulted and murdered in the Nasrapur area of Bhor taluka, Pune district, has issued an emotionally charged public appeal, warning the political establishment to stay away from his home until justice is delivered.
"No political person should come to our house until my daughter gets justice and the murderer is sentenced to death," he said in a video statement that has since circulated widely across social media platforms. Several civil society organisations and citizens' groups have extended solidarity with the family's position. The statement has sparked debate over politicians visiting crime scenes and victims’ homes after high-profile cases, a practice the grieving father has strongly rejected.
