PCNTDA to build 14,500 houses in Pradhikaran

PIMPRI: Pimpri-Chinchwad New Town Development Authority (PCNTDA-Pradhikaran) has planned to construct 14,656 flats during the next two years, PCNTDA Chairman Sadashiv Khade has said.

The flats to be constructed in Pradhikaran sectors in various parts of Pimpri-Chinchwad will be available at prices cheaper than the market prices.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will lay the foundation stone for the housing project for 6,000 flats next month, Khade told mediapersons here.

The housing projects for various economic groups will be implemented under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). 

Khade said that the PCNTDA has so far constructed and sold 11,500 flats. A project of construction of 4,883 flats will be undertaken in Nigdi sector number 12. Other housing projects will be taken up for economically weaker sections and middle income groups, he added.

PCNTDA’s Chief Executive Officer Satishkumar Khadke and Superintendent Engineer Anil Suryawanshi were also present.
