Shivajinagar also felt a sharp drop, with temperatures falling to 9.4°C, well below normal for this time of year. The sudden fall comes after a relatively mild start to November, with the city experiencing a noticeable dip only since the weekend. On Sunday, Pune had recorded a minimum of 10.6°C, signalling the arrival of winter.

Other parts of Maharashtra also remained cold, with Dhule recording the lowest temperature in the state at 6.2°C. Within the Pune region, Haveli reported 8.6°C and Malin recorded 9.9°C, reflecting a widespread cooling effect.

According to the India Meteorological Department, Pune is expected to witness a gradual rise in night temperatures after November 18. Minimum temperatures are likely to settle around 13–14°C, while daytime temperatures may hover near 30°C, bringing slight relief from the current cold-wave grip.
