Pune, 28th August 2026: The Katraj-Kondhwa flyover will remain partially close to vehicular traffic at night from August 31 to September 30 to allow the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to carry out essential structural repair work.
The flyover will remain partially closed between 11 pm and 6 am throughout the repair period. Vehicles will be diverted to the service road below the flyover while the work is underway.
Rajendra Jadhav, Superintending Engineer (Projects), PMC, said the repairs are necessary from a safety perspective and appealed to motorists to cooperate with the traffic arrangements and use alternative routes where possible.
The civic body has advised commuters to plan their journeys in advance and follow the traffic diversions during the repair work.
The repair schedule has been planned during night hours to minimise disruption to daytime traffic. The work is expected to continue for about a month, with restrictions limited to the specified night hours.
