Due to the anticipated crowd and processions, heavy congestion is likely on roads surrounding these locations. To maintain public safety and ensure smooth traffic flow, the Pune Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions and diversions across the city.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Himmat Jadhav, stated that under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, the movement of heavy and multi-axle vehicles will be restricted.

Heavy Vehicles with more than six wheels, including containers, trailers, and bulk carriers, will not be allowed to enter the city for 24 hours—from 11:00 PM on April 13 to midnight on April 14—except for emergency services such as ambulances, fire brigade, and police vehicles.

Additionally, vehicles like dumpers, RMC mixers, and Hyva trucks passing through Pune toward other destinations will also face restrictions at key entry and exit points.

These include Theur Phata (Loni Kalbhor), Harris Bridge (Khadki), Bopkhel Phata (Vishrantwadi), Radha Chowk (Baner), Warje Bridge, Katraj Chowk, Khadi Machine Chowk (Kondhwa), Manjari Phata (Fursungi), Kharadi Bypass, Ravidarshan Chowk, and Bhairoba Nala Chowk.

Authorities have urged motorists to use alternative routes and cooperate with traffic police to avoid inconvenience during the celebrations.
