The water supply will remain completely suspended for 24 hours, starting from midnight on Wednesday until midnight on Thursday. The maintenance work will cover major facilities including Parvati (old and new), Wadgaon, Lashkar, Warje, Chandni Chowk, Gandhi Bhavan, Holkar, and Bhama Askhed water centres.

Due to this, water supply across most parts of the city, including central areas, suburbs, and rapidly growing localities, is expected to be affected. Residents in areas such as Shivajinagar, Kothrud, Hadapsar, Kondhwa, Baner, Bibwewadi, Yerwada, and Wagholi, among many others, will face disruption.

Authorities have also warned that water supply on Friday morning may not return to normal immediately. It is likely to resume late and at reduced pressure because of air accumulation in pipelines following the maintenance work.

Chief Engineer Nandkishor Jagtap urged citizens to store sufficient water in advance and cooperate with the PMC administration during the maintenance period.
