Pune, 10 February 2026: Senior NCP leader Sharad Pawar is stable and recovering well after being admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune, doctors said on Tuesday.
Pawar was admitted on Monday after he suffered from persistent coughing and phlegm, which led to breathing discomfort. Following medical evaluation, doctors decided to keep him under observation as a precautionary measure.
Providing an update on his condition, Dr Simon Grant, Physician and Trustee at Ruby Hall Clinic, said, “Mr Pawar’s condition is currently stable and he is recovering well. His vital parameters are within normal limits, and his overall medical status is improving.”
Doctors said the mild discomfort noted at the time of admission has eased with ongoing medical management. Pawar continues to be monitored closely, and treatment is being carried out strictly as per the hospital’s established medical protocols. All necessary investigations are under regular review.
Dr Grant added that decisions regarding further care will be taken based on Pawar’s clinical progress.
Meanwhile, Ruby Hall Clinic has appealed to party workers and well-wishers to avoid gathering at the hospital premises to ensure that routine patient services are not disrupted.
