SPPU’s distance learning programme gets good response

Pune: The distance learning programme of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) received an overwhelming response on the first day itself. In two days, around 2,514 students registered for the courses. 

From academic year 2019-20 onwards, SPPU has started its School of Open Learning. This will offer five courses via distance learning programme: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Masters of Arts (MA), Masters of Commerce (MCom) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).The portal for registration process was opened on Wednesday. Within 24 hours around 1,425 students registered. 

The school was started to provide quality higher education by reaching to masses. The University has also set up centres at Pune, Nashik and Ahmednagar.
