Pune: This winter, Pune airport is going to connect with two destinations, which were in high demand for a long time. Two new direct flights will start by the end of this month for Coimbatore and Jodhpur. This is the first time when Pune is going to connect with Jodhpur and Coimbatore, since it was vacant after Jet airlines stopped operations in April this year.
“We are going to connect to Coimbatore by this month-end. Pune-Coimbatore was in high demand after Jet stopped operations. The domestic airline Indigo will start the flight,” said Ajay Kumar.
SpiceJet’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity, the airline will be the first and only carrier in the country to launch non-stop flight service on the Pune-Jodhpur route.
“As we add newer cities and flights to our network, providing affordable air travel options to more and more people, our focus remains firmly on connecting the unconnected parts of the country,” said CMD of SpiceJet Ajay Singh.
