The standout performer for DC was Ashutosh Sharma, who played a phenomenal innings, scoring a crucial fifty under pressure. His explosive batting kept DC in the hunt as they chased down LSG's total of 209 runs.

DC faced a challenging start, losing several wickets early in the innings. However, Ashutosh’s partnership with Vipraj Nigam proved vital in reviving their chase after being reduced to 113/6.

LSG's M Siddharth turned the match with his impressive bowling spell, including key wickets that put DC on the back foot. His ability to turn the ball effectively created opportunities for his team.

As the match reached its climax, DC needed six runs off the final over. With nerves of steel, Ashutosh hit a six and secured the win for his team, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

This match marked a significant moment for former DC captain Rishabh Pant, now leading LSG. His experience and tactical acumen were on display, but ultimately it was not enough to secure victory against his old team.
