Maharashtra skaters impress in Ice Skating

PUNE: Maharashtra skaters finished with a good performance in the  14th National Ice Skating Championships which were conducted by the Ice Skating Association of India on January 2 and 3 at the Iskate Ice Skating rink, Ambience mall, Gurugram.

In the Under-10 boys category, Advay Kothari won the gold while Aarav Patwardhan won the bronze medal. In Under-10 girls age group, Era Patil won the bronze medal. In the 10 to 13 boys age group, Priyanshu Salve won the silver medal.

More than 180 athletes from over 18 states in India participated in this prestigious event. 27 athletes from Maharashtra state participated in this event.

The girls team comprised of Ishwari Mali, Aarya Atre, Era Patil, Anvee Mundada, Siddhi Dhore and Niharika Rajebhosale while Ojas Kulkarni, Aayush Bahirgonde, Aarav Patwardhan, Shubham Choudhary, Aryan Miraje, Advay Kothari, Harshit Patil, Priyanshu Salve, Om Murkute, Ishaan Darvekar, Lalit Girgaonkar, Aarav Patil, Advait Patil, Siddharth Warade, Aayush Arora, Harsh Jain, Pranav Sudhakar, Dhruv Patil, Nilay Girgaonkar, Devang Sachade and Noyal Cherian  were part of the boys team for Maharashtra state.
