Pune: Siddhant Phate, Vishal Kadam, Sumehr Mago were made to toil by their opponents before completing an odd frame in five (3-2) win and advance into Round-3 of the Deccan Gymkhana all-India Snooker Championship.

On a day when outstation cueists dominated proceedings, Siddhant (Royals) staged a two-frame comeback win over Nimish Kulkarni of PYC Gymkhana. Down 0-2, Siddhant did well to complete a 14-66, 49-73, 62-40, 53-41, 73-40 victory in style.
