Pune: Sinhgad Institute Of Technology, Narhe defeated Marathwada College of Commerce 1-0 and Indira College of Engineering beat Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth 4-0 in the football event of Moze Chashak which commenced at at Genba Sopanrao Moze College of Engg. ground, Balewadi. here on Wednesday.

President Rambhau Moze inaugurated the event and Principal Dr. A.B. Auti, welcomed all participants. Moze Chashak will have four sporting events (Football, Cricket, Kabbadi and Volleyball) and one champion from each category will be decided in next five days.

In the cricket action, G. S. Moze College Of Engineering (A) beat Modern College Of Engineering while DY Patil College Of Engineering, Talegaon beat G.S. Moze CoE (B).

Meanwhile, BDBA won against P.G. Moze CoE, Wagholi. In the kabaddi event, VIT, Kamshet won against GPP, Pune with the score of 35-19 and MIT, Alandi won against DY Patil CoE, Nigadi with the score reading 21-31.
