Canva Down Globally, Users Report Issues Editing Images and Videos

Users across regions report login failures, editing glitches, and download problems amid the unexpected service disruption.

A widespread outage hit popular graphic design platform Canva on Thursday, leaving thousands of users unable to access or edit their designs, templates, and projects. Complaints quickly surfaced on Downdetector and social media, where users reported that the Canva website and app were not working, citing login failures, loading issues, and trouble accessing saved work.

Today's Canva outage has caused disruptions for creators, designers, businesses, and students who depend on the platform for graphic design, social media posts, presentations, and marketing content, leading to widespread concern about when the service will be back online.

Frustrated users turned to social media to share their experiences and complaints about the Canva outage. One user said, “Interesting how Canva is not catering to AI creators – or it seems to me. Even ElevenLabs has launched AI Flows for AI creation, meanwhile Canva has the worse AI integration ive experienced.”

Another user said, “Please the video download is not working correctly! The file download is speed up or mixed up!!!”

Canva is reportedly facing a major outage, with thousands of users unable to access designs, templates, or projects. Many have reported login errors, loading issues, and problems editing or downloading files. However, the company has not yet issued an official statement on the disruption.
