The updated system brings a host of new capabilities, including the Video 2.0 editor, email design tools, digital forms, and integration with Canva Sheets and Canva Code, aimed at streamlining creative workflows for users worldwide.

Canva introduced a complimentary Affinity package that integrates and simplifies features like vector editing, image manipulation, and sophisticated layout design. Affinity users can create assets and transfer them to Canva for further processing. Canva highlighted that a single universal file format will be employed, eliminating the need for designers to switch between programs. Canva boasts more than 260 million active users each month, generates $3.5 billion in annual revenue, and is valued at $42 billion.

The company has introduced a new AI layer that includes a Canva Design Model capable of creating editable content in mere seconds, improved AI integration for multimedia designs, and an 'Ask @Canva' feature to support users.

It also introduced the Canva Business plan, which targets individuals, marketers, and small teams in need of AI, analytics, and branding tools. Canva mentioned that this plan is designed to 'bridge the gap between Canva Pro and Canva Enterprise.'
