Users of Reliance Jio can now enjoy 18 months of free access to Google AI Pro, the latest move in the telecom giant’s partnership with the US-based tech company. The collaboration, first announced last week, offers complimentary access to Gemini’s premium AI features.
At first, Jio announced that the offer was exclusively for users aged 18 to 25, with intentions to broaden the availability later. Surprisingly, the company has now extended the promotion to all age groups, enabling even those over 25 to access the free subscription.
The Google AI Pro plan Ordinarily priced at ₹1,950 per month, offers significantly enhanced capabilities compared to the free version. Subscribers gain access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, unlocking advanced tools for image creation, coding, and in-depth research.

Veo 3.1 Fast: Generate AI-powered videos directly from text prompts, complete with sound and dialogue.
Enhanced coding tools: Upgraded Gemini Code Assist IDE extensions and Gemini CLI with higher usage limits.
Seamless AI integration: Works across Google Workspace apps such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Drive.
Generous storage and tools: 2TB of cloud storage and access to Whisk, Flow, and NotebookLM with higher rate limits.
To qualify, customers need an active Jio SIM with an unlimited 5G plan. Once eligible, claiming the free Gemini Pro subscription is easy:
Open the MyJio app (or download it if you don’t have it).
Tap the “Early Access” banner at the top of the home page.
Select “Claim Now” within the banner.
A new browser window will appear showing the offer details.
Scroll down and click “Agree” to confirm.
After completing these steps, users can open the Gemini app to check that their Pro subscription is activated.
