Pune: In an unexpected move, the Fit JEE coaching center in Chinchwad has closed its doors, leaving students without classes and parents worried about their financial investments.

The sudden shutdown has led to academic disruption and potential financial losses for many families who had paid substantial fees.

Parents have raised concerns and lodged complaints at the Chinchwad Police Station. The center, which catered to students from 8th to 12th grade, had been operational since June 2024.

However, issues had surfaced recently, with parents being informed that the Chinchwad branch teachers had not been paid, and rent for the premises was overdue. Irregular class schedules added to the growing worries.

This development has left many parents and students in a difficult situation, awaiting resolution and hoping for the recovery of their investments.

Without any warning, the coaching center ceased operations on Wednesday, July 10th, leaving parents anxious about the substantial fees they had paid.

The police have acknowledged the complaints and assured a thorough investigation. Inspector Kishor Patil stated, "Parents have reported the sudden closure and the financial implications. We will investigate the matter and take appropriate action."
