Pune: In an inspiring feat, Siddheshwar Patkar, a young man from Ghodgaon village, has cleared the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination, securing a position as a Revenue Assistant Officer. His achievement stands as a testament to perseverance, dedication, and resilience in the face of adversity.

Siddheshwar was born into humble beginnings. His father, Sunil Ashok Patkar, worked as a Mathadi laborer, and his mother, Surekha Patkar, worked as a daily wage laborer to sustain the family. Despite severe financial struggles, his parents made every possible effort to educate him.

Determined to honor his parents' sacrifices, Siddheshwar pursued his studies with commitment. Despite the many economic challenges, he remained focused on his goal, ultimately achieving success in the MPSC examination.

Siddheshwar began his education at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Ghodgaon, and later studied at Janata Vidya Mandir, Ghodgaon, until Class 12. He then pursued a Mechanical Engineering degree from Sinhgad Institute of Technology, Lonavala.

In July 2021, he started preparing for the highly competitive MPSC examination. Through relentless efforts and dedicated study, he finally achieved success and secured a government officer position.

His remarkable success has brought immense pride to his family and the entire village of Ghodgaon. Former Cooperation Minister Dilip Walse Patil, along with other villagers, extended their congratulations to Siddheshwar, recognizing his inspiring journey.
