ICAI Pune Branch Elects CA Sachin Miniyar as President, CA Pranav Apte as VP

Along with him, CA Pranav Apte has been elected as Vice President, CA Nilesh Yevlekar as Secretary, and CA Neha Phadke as Treasurer.

Pune: The Pune Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced its new leadership team for the 2025-2026 term. CA Sachin Miniyar has been elected as the President, taking over from CA Amruta Kulkarni.

Along with him, CA Pranav Apte has been elected as Vice President, CA Nilesh Yevlekar as Secretary, and CA Neha Phadke as Treasurer. CA Pragya Bamb will serve as the Chairman of ‘VIKASA’, the student wing of ICAI. The executive committee for this term also includes CA Hrushikesh Badwe, CA Sarika Dindokar, CA Pritesh Munot, and CA Nandkumar Kadam.

The announcement event saw the presence of several esteemed members of the ICAI, including CA Chandrashekhar Chitale (Central Council Member), CA Rajesh Agrawal (Regional Council Member), CA Rekha Dhamankar, CA Abhishek Dhamane, and former ICAI Pune Branch Presidents CA Kashinath Pathare, CA Moshmi Shah, and CA Ajinkya Randive. Senior office bearers of ICAI Pune branch extended their best wishes to the newly elected committee, expressing confidence in their leadership.

Outgoing President CA Amruta Kulkarni presented a summary of the achievements of the past year. She announced that the ICAI Pune branch was awarded first place at the regional level, while its student wing, VIKASA, secured the second-place award. She also expressed gratitude to all members and staff for their continuous support.

Speaking about his plans, newly elected President CA Sachin Miniyar emphasized his commitment to technology-driven training, sustainability initiatives, and infrastructure development for the benefit of ICAI members and students.

"I am honored to be elected as the President of ICAI Pune Branch. Over the next year, I will focus on three key areas—enhancing technology training, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly initiatives, and expanding infrastructure facilities. The Pune Branch currently serves over 11,000 Chartered Accountants and 25,000 students, and we are committed to ensuring better resources and opportunities for them,” said Miniyar.
