Pune: The Army Institute of Technology (AIT), Pune, is gearing up to host "INNERVE 9.0", a national-level hackathon that has gained recognition as one of India's largest student-driven tech competitions.

The two-day event, scheduled for February 7-8, 2025, is being organized by AIT’s Open Source Software Club. It aims to bring together young innovators to collaborate on real-world problem-solving through technology.

The hackathon has received backing from several reputed tech companies, including Josh Software, UdChalo, Cloudflare, Acops, and Sahana Systems. Their involvement strengthens the link between academia and industry, providing students with real-world challenges to tackle.

The event saw over 9,000 students from across India registering through 2,500+ teams. Following a rigorous screening process, the top 30-35 teams have been selected to compete in the Grand Finale on February 7. Throughout the event, industry experts will conduct mentorship sessions, providing valuable insights and guidance to the participants.

A strict evaluation process will be followed to select the winning teams, who will be honored at the prize distribution ceremony on February 8, 2025. The Chairman of AIT will preside as the chief guest for the event.

"INNERVE 9.0 Hackathon" is more than just a tech competition—it serves as a platform for students to gain industry exposure, mentorship, and opportunities to showcase their innovative solutions.

The event is being organized under the leadership of AIT Director Brigadier Abhay Bhat, Deputy Director Colonel M.K. Prasad, and Principal Dr. B.P. Patil. Faculty-in-charge Prof. Vaishali Ingle, along with a dedicated team of students, has been working tirelessly to ensure the success of the hackathon.
