Pune: DCP Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakre Saves Life of Accident Victim Through Timely Action

A motorcyclist collided with an elderly woman, causing minor injuries to the woman. The motorcyclist fell off his bike and experienced a seizure immediately after the accident.

Pune: Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakre's swift response to a roadside accident near Jagtap Dairy Chowk in Wanawadi saved the life of a motorcyclist who suffered a seizure after the mishap. The incident occurred on December 24 at around 2 PM and showcased the DCP's presence of mind and dedication to duty.

According to police reports, a motorcyclist collided with an elderly woman, causing minor injuries to the woman. The motorcyclist fell off his bike and experienced a seizure immediately after the accident.

Witnessing the accident firsthand, DCP Bhajibhakre quickly intervened. He identified the young man's condition and administered necessary first aid on the spot.

In addition to assisting the motorcyclist, the DCP also provided aid to the injured elderly woman. Using his personal handkerchief, he managed to stem the bleeding from her wounds until further medical help could arrive.

Speaking to mediapersons about the incident, DCP Dr. Bhajibhakre stated, “It is the duty of police officers to assist citizens in emergencies. I urge everyone to come forward and help accident victims when possible, as timely action can save lives.”

The officer's quick thinking and proactive measures have earned widespread appreciation from Pune citizens, reinforcing their trust and pride in the police force.
