According to police reports, Taral was attempting to secure her safety harness to the upper railing but could not reach the hook point. To compensate, she stood on an iron stool which suddenly slipped, causing her to lose balance and fall from the height. She sustained fatal injuries when her head struck the ground.

Taral was rushed to a private hospital in Nasrapur, where doctors declared her dead. The deceased was a resident of Dhayari area in Pune and had come to the adventure park with her family for a day outing.

Rajgad police have registered a case of accidental death based on a complaint filed by her uncle, Nandkishor Atpalkar. An investigation is underway to determine if there was any negligence on the part of the park’s management or safety personnel. Authorities are examining the safety protocols, equipment adequacy, and staff supervision at the park.

This tragic incident has raised serious questions about the safety standards at adventure parks, especially during the busy summer season when visitor numbers increase. Local officials and police have urged stricter enforcement of safety measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
