Pune, 25 July 2025: The Pune Traffic Police have made significant changes to traffic flow and parking arrangements across different parts of the city in an effort to streamline vehicle movement and reduce congestion. These updates were shared by the traffic branch and will be enforced under various regional traffic divisions.

Under the Chatushrungi traffic division, a stretch of Aundh DP Road from Dnyaneshwar Murkute Arch to Payal Terrace Society at Vidhate Vasti has been converted into a one-way route. Vehicles will no longer be allowed to travel in the reverse direction, from Payal Terrace towards Dnyaneshwar Murkute Arch.

To accommodate commuters, alternate routes have been assigned via Tereza Park Society (left turn) or Sharada Park Society (right turn), based on the destination.

In the Nanded City traffic division, both sides of the Nanded City gate and a 50-meter stretch in front of the gate have been declared no-parking zones to prevent roadside congestion.

Similarly, in the Bharati Vidyapeeth division, a 40-meter stretch on both sides of the entrance to Pooja Society along Satara Road has been marked as a no-parking area for all types of vehicles.

Meanwhile, in the Dattawadi traffic division, designated parking for two-wheelers has been created outside Swargiya Shankarrao Kavare Garden in Tavare Colony. This includes 20 meters on each side of the gate, adjacent to the garden wall.

The Traffic Department has also invited citizens to share their feedback or suggestions on these changes. Written responses can be submitted at the Yerawada Traffic Department office from July 24 to August 7, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Himmat Jadhav.
