Soon after the attack, a social media post went viral claiming responsibility for the firing in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The post mentioned businessmen Amul Chamaria and Sunny Chamaria, alleging that repeated attempts were made to contact them, but the calls were ignored.

It claimed that the office was targeted as a warning and threatened more serious consequences if the message was not taken seriously.

The viral message also carried the names of Arju Bishnoi, Shubham Lonkar, and Tyson Bishnoi, who purportedly accepted responsibility for the attack. However, police have not yet verified the authenticity of the post or confirmed whether the firing was indeed linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

After receiving information about the incident, police teams rushed to the spot and began an investigation. CCTV footage from the surrounding area is being examined, and efforts are underway to identify and trace the attackers.

Officials are probing all possible angles, including extortion, business disputes, and organised crime involvement. The incident has created anxiety among Pune’s business community, while police have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
