If you’re flying out of Pune International Airport and tired of paying premium prices for basic snacks, there’s good news. The airport's Udaan Yatri Café, offers pocket-friendly options for travellers. Tea is priced at just Rs 10, while favourites like vada pav, coffee, samosas and sweets are available for Rs 20.
For many passengers who hesitate before buying even a cup of tea at airport prices, this comes as a welcome change. A recent viral video from the airport showcasing the newly opened café has caught attention online, surprising viewers with its unusually affordable menu.
The viral video was posted by IIT Bombay alumnus Piyush Tripathi, who was travelling with his wife from Pune International Airport. In the clip, he casually asks his wife, “Samosa khaogi airport par?” before showing the newly opened Udan Yatri Café inside the terminal, where samosas are priced at ₹20 and water at ₹10. Along with the video, he wrote, “Expectation: Airport + mehenga. Reality: Rs 20 samosa + Rs 10 chai. Fact check passed.”
The video quickly captured widespread attention across India immediately after it was uploaded. Raghav Chadha himself commented on the video and wrote, “Hahah, hope you enjoyed the samosa.” Shortly thereafter, the comments section was inundated with praise for Raghav Chadha. Numerous individuals expressed gratitude for his efforts in highlighting the issue, while others hailed him as an exceptional leader.

Udan Yatri Cafe provides budget-friendly snacks at airports across India. Currently, the cafe can be found in Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar, Itanagar, and Vijayawada, with future expansions planned for Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, aiming to make airport dining more accessible to the general public.
