Pune: The title for the Best Mashup of this year goes to singer-musician Yashraj Mukhate whose 'Kokilaben rap' is viral on social media platforms from past few days.

Kaun tha? Main thi? Tum thi? Kaun Tha ?". Kokilaben is a character from the Hindi television series, 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya' which concluded in 2017 but its memes and jokes haven't. Yashraj converted one scene from the serial featuring Kokilaben and turned it into a funny music video. In an interesting twist to a conversation between Kokilaben, her daughter-in-law Gopi Bahu and her sister-in-law Rashi, the video made rounds on social media. He changed the intense conversation, where Kokilaben alleges Rashi of a plot and scolds Gopi Bahu, into a rap.

The video has now inspired the creative minds of Twitter to come up with memes. The rap is so popular that now Pune Police have used the same in its tweet in the reference of COVID-19. While issuing a safety precaution, the tweet of Pune Police reads, “Vo ek zimmedar nagarik tha! #GuidelineNibhanaSaathiya #TakingOnCorona.”
