Officials stated that if rainfall persists and inflows continue to rise, the discharge will be further adjusted based on the evolving situation. The decision is being taken as a precaution to maintain dam safety and prevent overflow risks.

People living near the river have been strictly advised not to enter the riverbed under any circumstances. Those who have left belongings or livestock near the river are requested to move them to safer ground immediately.

Residents of low-lying areas have been asked to stay alert, and local authorities have been instructed to issue timely warnings. Emergency teams are on standby to manage any situation that may arise due to the increased water release.

The administration has appealed to the public to cooperate and exercise caution, ensuring the safety of lives and property during this period of heavy rainfall and rising water levels.
