In a shocking incident, a 13 days old disabled baby was buried by his parents in Wadgaon area at Sinhagad road in Pune. Soon after receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot. The incident came to light on Wednesday.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the baby was disabled thus the parents buried him alive at a remote place near the Godavari Hostel which is located behind the Sinhagad Institute in Wadgaon.

A team of police personnel from the Sinhagad Road police station rushed to the spot to rescue the baby. However, since Tehsildar’s consent is required to dig inside the forest area, police were waiting for the said permission.

The news of this incident has made rounds of social media too. A case is being registered against the parents at Sinhagad Road police station.

The parents were married secretly. After the baby was born, they realised that he was disabled so they tried to adopt another baby. However, they failed to do so. Therefore, it is being said that they buried this baby.
