Pune: In recent days, Pune has witnessed a growing trend of midnight birthday celebrations on public roads, with groups of people bursting firecrackers, playing loud music, and causing disturbances at 12 AM. The issue has now drawn the attention of Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, who has issued a stern warning against such activities.

Commissioner’s Warning: Offenders and Their Families Will Be Held Accountable

Speaking at an event organized by the Kondhwa Police Station and the Markazi Baitul Maal Foundation, Commissioner Amitesh Kumar made it clear that such street celebrations will not be tolerated. He warned that those involved in such activities would face strict legal consequences.

Officials have stated that any individual or group found engaging in unruly midnight birthday celebrations on public roads will face strict legal consequences. The police have urged citizens to celebrate responsibly and avoid disturbing public order.
